Violett
Violett is an adventure with a point & click interface, produced by Forever Entertainment company from Gdynia.
Violett is the work of Forever Entertainment, a studio known for such productions as Frederic: The Resurrection of Music or Teddy Floppy Ear series. This time, the developers decided to make an adventure game and one of their sources of inspiration was Lewis Carroll's most famous novel - Alice in Wonderland.
Plot
The plot of the game depicts the adventures of a rebellious teenager, who doesn't agree with the parents' decision to move to an old house away from the city center. In her new room, the heroine finds a magical talisman, a portal to an alternate world behind the mouse hole. The player's task is to help Violet in the struggle with the Spider Queen and find a way back home.
Mechanics
Like classic adventures, the game is based on manipulating elements of the environment, including the use of found objects. The heroine can also use supernatural skills like telekinesis or interference into laws of physics, which allows to e.g. run various mechanisms.
The level of difficulty of the puzzles in Violett is not too high, but the developers of the game have made every effort to make them a challenge also for more experienced players. The in-game control system is based on a classic point & click interface, with many interactive objects in the environment.
Technical aspects
Violett is distinguished by its attractive visuals, which combine elements of 2D and 3D graphics. The game uses comic style graphics with numerous cut-scenes and has a soundtrack that intensifies the atmosphere.
