Treehouse Games is an independent Californian development studio based in Los Angeles, which has been in existence since 2020. For their debut project, the developers chose to create a survival game set in a fantasy aquatic world.

In Voyagers of Nera we play as Echo, a descendant of the ancient guardians of the land, whose task is to awaken the lost spirits of nature before it's too late.

Gameplay

Voyagers of Nera allows to see the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Exploring the game world

The adventure leads us through various locations, among which we will find an archipelago surrounding the remains of a gigantic statue, or massive coral cliffs. We can explore not only the surface (by walking, sailing on a boat or surfing on a board), but also the after descending to the depths.

Resources, crafting and building

We explore the game world and gather useful resources, which we then use to craft items, as well as to erect various structures and build bases. The source for new recipes and upgrades are the spirits we awaken during the game, which hide from enemies.

Combat

And speaking of opponents - they hinder our exploration, so dynamic battles with them are a daily occurrence here. We can eliminate enemies by using magic, melee weapons, or ranged weapons. There are ancient guardians who serve as bosses, blocking access to the powerful Elder Spirits.
