WET 2

The 2009 edition of the console action game WET was well received by critics and reached sales exceeding one million copies. This encouraged the development team of the Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive to start working on a fully-fledged continuation.

The story WET 2 is a continuation of the adventures of Ruby Malone, a specialist in "grunt work". Thanks to the old enemies, a well-trained bounty hunter got involved in a complicated and extremely dangerous intrigue again.

Developers planned to utilize proven solutions when developing the gameplay mechanics. Players have to face numerous opponents, having at their disposal the protagonist's favourite weapon - a pair of revolvers and katana, as well as a wide range of acrobatic attacks, dodges, and jumps.

The Behaviour Interactive once again decided to base their game on the proprietary Gaia engine. Its modified version provided a better visual setting, including smoother and more natural character movement animations.

Annotation: work on WET 2 was suspended in the middle of 2011. Unofficially, the reason for this decision was Bethesda Softworks' withdrawal and a problem with finding a new publisher for the emerging game.
