WWF Road to Wrestlemania Description
WWF Road to Wrestlemania is one of the first wrestling titles to be released on GameBoy Advance. So we are dealing with a product presenting simulated combat sports, enjoying particular interest in the United States and Australia. The rules of the game are very simple - we have to knock down the opponent on the mat, and then have the referee finish the duel in an appropriate way. Of course, many different types of competitions have been taken care of, such as fights played inside a huge frame, or hardcore fights, in which the competitors use poles and other "extreme" tools. However, most of the clashes end in the way described above. The studio called Natsume is responsible for the production of this skillfulness, which has prepared several other titles from this series, as well as such games as Power Rangers Ninja Storm or Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. This game was released only on GameBoy Advance, although other hardware platforms have also seen many wrestling products.
One of the main advantages of the described production is, of course, the ability to play in one of the 24 real champions of this sport. These include such personalities as The Rock, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, and Kurt Angle. The players differ not only in appearance, but also in speed or strength of the blows. However, the module responsible for conducting subsequent strokes is not complicated. There were also no more impressive combos. The game is limited to randomly hitting the available buttons, hoping to weaken the attacked opponent to a sufficient degree. WWF Road to Wrestlemania has a fully fledged multiplayer for four people. As you can guess, the duels are played in this case on a common ring. Visually, the game looks relatively poor, especially if you take into account the appearance of the environment. The players themselves are not very animated either.
