They were groundbreaking for the series, moving the eternal struggles of the title bugs into the third dimension. The creators of the series, Team 17, didn't make any changes to the gameplay mechanics, focusing instead on refreshing the visuals and tweaking them to HD standards.

Similar to the previous installments, the gameplay is based on two main modes. This time, however, the assumptions, graphical engine and completely new gameplay solutions have been introduced, making Kagure Z a completely new product. The title still remains an action game with a view from behind the back, but offers a much better performance than the rest of the series.

An arcade game about fishing, which uses a Kinect motion controller. Using our own body we pretend that we cast a rod. A maximum of four people can take part in the competition. Rapala for Kinect also offers a mini-game in the form of motorboat racing.

An arcade fighting game developed by Bandai Namco. It is the second installment in the subseries focusing on fights 2vs2. The plot is non-canonical here, serving the purpose of the background for spectacular fighting. The game features over fifty well-known fighters participating in the titular tournament. The player can change both their appearances and weapons to one's liking. Before the fight begins, the player selects two combatants to be used interchangeably.
