Mr Prepper: Traps - how to set?

Traps

You can use animal traps in the Forest. This is one of the more profitable activities at the beginning of Mr. Prepper. To use a trap, first craft it in the workshop (1 wood) and take it to the forest. Remove it from the inventory and set it in the spot where the Traps Area sign is located. Then you need to put the bait inside the trap.

You can set many traps at the same time. Later in the game (when you expand the workshop), you can make a bear trap for 5 metal. It's not a good investment. They last more than twice as long, but cost much more - the chance to catch interesting items remains the same as for a simple trap.

Bait

You will find the first baits in your home in one of the cabinets. You can buy another one from the Hunter (whom you'll unlock by reading a note attached to a tree in the forest). Baits differ in terms of the value of the items you can get and the time needed to catch them. These are always animal products (tusks, antlers, tails, skins) that you can sell at the Hunter's. Alternatively, you will find different types of meat that you can fry, dry or use to make more complex dishes (to eat or to sell).
