Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution: Single Player modes
Table of Contents

Those who don't want to fight with other players will find something for themselves.
For those, who don't want to fight with other players (and the lags accompanying those games...), there's plenty of modes in the game - everyone should be able to find something for himself. Those are:
- Ninja Escapades - a story mode. It's broadly described at the beginning of this guide.
- Ninja World Tournament - the mode during which you will certainly spend the most time. It's divided into several groups (from D to S+, with an additional Mecha-Naruto story mode), which are unlocked one after another. Besides this, the mode offers a great number of Ally Events, task from the Employment Office, as well as numerous Challenges. Information about every single one of them can be found in the section describing this mode.
- Survival - a game mode allowing you to have an endless amount of encounters with enemy-controlled characters. It's divided into two groups - school of survival, where you will be fighting in accordance to predetermined rules, and master survival, in which every encounter has different rules. Contrary to the description of the mode, there's a way to replenish some of your character's health - after each win you will be given a percentage of your health back, depending on your effectiveness (it can reach up to 60%). It means, that you will begin almost all of your encounters will full health.
- League - a tournament-like mode, in which a maximum of 4 players can take part. It differs from the Ninja World Tournament, or from the "regular" Tournament in such a way, that in this mode every player will fight with every other, regardless of the outcome of their previous matches (in a normal tournament the player who lost is kicked out of the ladder). For each win the player will receive 3 points. Additionally, if you manage to win two matches in a row, you will be given a bonus point (3 normal points + 1), meaning that luck and order of your enemies may impact the outcome of the tournament in some degree.
- Tournament - it works just like Ninja World Tournament. A total of 8 players can take part in this mode.
- Training - as the name suggests, it allows you to train. You can customize a whole bunch of different options, like limitless chakra, or Storm Bar. By default, the other player will stay still, so you can practice your attacks on him - nothing stands in the way of turning that character into a CPU-controlled one, or to allow the second player to control him. It's a perfect mode to test out the effectiveness of your teams, or certain combos.
- VS Battle - a typical, one on one duel, between a player and a computer, two players, or two computers.
