A hit in recent days, Baldur's Gate 3 has received another hotfix, which introduces some 200 changes and fixes to the game. One of the most interesting new features concerns the dog companion Scratch.
Developers of Baldur's Gate 3 are not resting on their laurels. A new - the third since the game's release - small update, which primarily fixed a number of bugs and visual glitches, has been released.
Interestingly, thanks to the latest patch, the player favorite - the dog Scratch - who can be recruited into a team, has finally been "let loose" and will from now on be able to sniff out and discover treasures on his own.
"Hotfix 3" for Baldur's Gate 3 also fixed the game's burning problems with spell slots, which prevented multi-class players from advancing, or those with cross-platform saving, which caused the title to stutter during synchronization.
What's more, a crash that prevented players from using a key long rest mechanic has been fixed. The stealth option in combat has also been fixed.
As the full patch notes contain spoilers regarding the game's storyline, I've included only a portion below - in my opinion - of the most important improvements, leaving out the ones that could reveal the course of the story.
For a comprehensive description of the most recent hotfix for BG3 I refer you to this page on Steam. Don't worry - passages that could be spoilers have been properly covered.
Let me remind you that Baldur's Gate 3 made its debut on August 3 on PCs. The PlayStation 5 console version will be released on September 3. Larian Studios plans to release its work also on Xbox Series X/S - unfortunately, for this platform we still do not know the official release date.
