It took a while, but reviews of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide have finally started appearing online. The industry media received the game quite warmly, although critics did not like some elements.
Although Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a co-op FPS from studio Fatshark well-known for the Warhammer: Vermintide series, made its debut on November 30 (and those with preorders started playing two weeks earlier as part of the beta), reviews of the game have only recently started appearing online.
Reviewers have generally praised the gameplay and graphics, especially the brilliantly designed locations. The main criticisms are technical problems and aggressive monetization, which are exactly the same elements that players complain about. In addition, there is no shortage of opinions that the game's content is too modest.
Recall that for now Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is available only on PC, but the game is expected to hit Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles soon as well. The game is also simultaneously available through Game Pass.
