Multiplayer Beta of ETS2 and ATS Ends; Release in a Few Days

SCS Software Studio announced the end of beta testing of the multiplayer Convoy mode in ETS 2 and ATS. The full version of update 1.4.1 should be available within a few days.

Developers from the Czech studio SCS Software announced on their blog that the beta testing of the Convoy mode in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator has ended. This means that the full version of update 1.4.1, of which it is a part, will be available in a few days. You can watch the trailer for the new patch below.

The developers thanked all test participants and noted that based on their comments they have introduced many improvements to Convoy. Recall that this game variant will enable up to eight people to play at the same time. What follows, the drivers will perform the same work in identical weather, traffic and encountering the same random events. In addition, communication between players will be facilitated by CB radio-style voice chat, text chat, and a quick reply panel.

It is worth noting that update 1.4.1 is not the only attraction waiting for the fans of driving on virtual roads this month. July 30 is the International Day of Friendship. The holiday is based on the idea of mutual friendship between different nations, countries and cultures. Developers from SCS Software are preparing an event for truck fans. Details about it will be revealed in the next two weeks.

Update 1.4.1 will be available for free to all owners of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
