Unlucky with your first Character Draw in Wuthering Waves (WuWa)? Our guide explains how to Reroll in Convene and whether you need to Delete Your Account first.
In Wuthering Waves, you play as a Rover who awakens with amnesia in a post-apocalyptic world. Joined by other powerful characters called Resonators, you'll journey through a vast map. To strategically build your team, you'll acquire additional Resonators, weapons, and equipment through Convene – the game's gacha system. This guide answers two main questions about Wuthering Waves: can you reroll and how to delete your account.
Unfortunately, rerolling in Wuthering Waves is not an option. Once you draw a companion, you're stuck with that choice. While there is a method to select a different Resonator, it's far from ideal. The simplest way to roll another character is to just restart the whole game. But to do that, you need to create a new account.
For now, rerolling for a new character requires creating separate accounts. While it is technically possible to use the same email, you can create additional profiles through social logins like Google or X without deleting your previous ones. This allows for separate accounts despite sharing the same email address.
We recommend deleting your profile before creating a new one if you are certain you want to start fresh and replay the early stages. It typically takes about 40-50 minutes to reach the point where you can access the gacha system again.
If you want to delete your account before creating a new one, here’re the necessary steps:
Now you're ready to jump in with a brand-new profile and begin playing with a fresh start.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
