Infection Free Zone is a new game about surviving the zombie apocalypse but with a twist. You can fight in your own town and protect your home. However, to do that you will need to arm your survivors. We will tell you how to do that.

Infection Free Zone – How to Get Guns (Weapons) and Ammo

There are four types of firearms in Infection Free Zone: pistols, sniper rifles. assault rifles and shotguns. Of course, your people can fight with melee weapons and bows, but it will not do enough damage to deal with bigger groups of enemies.

At the beginning of the game, you have limited options to gather weapons and ammo. It is necessary to scavenge them. There is a small chance to get guns in random buildings. However, it is not the most optimal way of getting them. Pick military constructions, instead. Chose facilities with a badge symbol, as the chances of finding firearms are the biggest in these places.

Of course, there is a limited number of police or fire stations in your town, especially if you live in a small community. In the long run, you will have to start producing your own goods. You can do that, but you will have to research such possibilities in your Research Center. They are in Chemistry and Arm Production sections in your technology tab.

Of course, guns are not the only resources in Infection Free Zone. The game has more important mechanics, which are necessary to rebuild civilization. If you want to learn how to survive in the world overrun by zombies, read our guide to learn some useful tips.
