Ways to get gold

Gold is one of the most important resources in Kingdoms and Castles. Without it, you won't be able to manage your kingdom well. Erecting new constructions can cost a lot, and this is what you will mostly need money for. To solve the problem of lack of gold, it is worth doing the following:

1. Hire tax collectors - they will make it significantly easier to collect money for your kingdom. In the lower left corner of the screen by the name of the city, you can increase the tax rate using the arrows. Each time you click on them, they will increase or decrease tax collection by 5%. If you need more gold, increase the value of the tax (but be careful not to overdo it, as this will affect the satisfaction of the residents).
2. Build treasure rooms - each of these buildings will increase your gold possession limit by 1000 pieces. This way you will have no problem storing your money.
3. Increase the population of your kingdom - the more citizens live in your kingdom, the more money you will get from them, if only because each of them has to pay taxes. Keep this in mind!
4. Sell your resources - we are talking about grain, charcoal or fish, among others. However, to store all your goods, you need a building, which is called Dock Pontchardon. With it, ships of foreign merchants will be able to dock and store materials. Remember that you must allow this by clicking the option "allow foreign merchants to dock".
5. Disable the operation of certain buildings - for example, if your kingdom is not currently attacked by a plague, you can turn off the hospital for a while to save some gold. However, keep your eyes peeled so that you don't miss an announcement about an emerging plague.
