Tomorrow Mortal Kombat 1 will officially go on sale. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch owners to enjoy, among others. It is worth noting that the quality of game on this device is generally okay, but at times, however, it leaves a lot to be desired - this is proven by fresh screenshots and videos.

"Strange" Johnny Cage

Players who bought the premium version of Mortal Kombat 1, started playing the game a few days ago. We did not have to wait long for the first materials from the game - they show, among other things, the differences in visuals on different platforms.

On X you can see, how Mortal Kombat 1 performs on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Well, the hybrid console version looks quite... peculiar at times, to put it mildly.

The above screenshots from Switch reveal Johnny Cage with a very puzzled face - unfortunately this is due, among other things, to the insufficient power of the device, which is not technically on par with the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. As a result, the developers had to make some compromises to deliver their title to this device.

It is worth noting that the fighting game has already received many positive reviews - quite a few editors have given the game from NetherRealm Studios very high marks.

Nintendo Switch 2 will improve the situation?

A successor to the Switch has been discussed for some time, possibly coming to market as early as next year. According to leaks this device is supposed to offer much better performance, and this could certainly improve the condtion of released games.

For now, we do not know when Nintendo will officially present the "second" Switch. We are left to wait for official information on the matter.
