Satisfactory - Boombox and Tapes

Boom Box is one of the novelties that came to Satisfactory with Update 6. Here you will find out where to get it and the cassettes that enable you to listen to music on it.

Satisfactory recently received Update 6, a major patch introducing a number of new features. One of them is a Boom Box that enables you to play music. Below you will learn where to get it and how to find the tapes.

What is a Boom Box?

Boom Box is one of the items that came to the game with Update 6. You can purchase it from the AWESOME Shop for 3 FICSIT Coupon. If you decide to purchase it, it only takes up one slot in your inventory.

The Boom Box actually has two functions:

  1. Playing music from tapes you buy yourself or find in the game. As soon as you acquire one, it automatically becomes available for listening;
  2. Turbo Bass that deals 1 point of damage to enemies and knocks them back.

Where to get the tapes?

Tapes can be obtained in two ways. The first is to purchase one from the AWESOME Shop.The store offers 6 different tapes - one of them, The Worst of Goat Simulator, is free. For the other 5 you need to pay 1 FICSIT Coupon. Their list is presented as follows:

  1. Absolute Ficsit
  2. Joel Syntholm
  3. Classic Michael
  4. Sanctum
  5. Sanctum 2

The second way is to find tapes located in various corners of the world. In this way you will find another 3 tapes:

  1. Deep Rock Galactic - in the Jungle Spires cave, near the coal deposits on the border with Snaketree Forest;
  2. Songs of Conquest - near Lake Forest, in one of the Crater Lakes;
  3. Huntdown - at a lake in the western part of Dune.

On each pf the tapes listed above you will find 5 different pieces. This gives quite a substantial list of tracks to listen to. In addition, there are allegedly 5 tapes that cannot be obtained by any means.
