Less than two months separate us from the release of Starfield, Bethesda's next big RPG. Those waiting for this title should be interested in information about the game's surprising economy.

  1. On Reddit gamers have drawn attention to the surprising prices of some goods in Starfield. A patty melt sandwich, the eating of which regenerates 15 life points, costs 295 credits. In contrast, the cheapest spaceship shown during the recent gameplay show was priced at 7375 credits.
  2. Thus, this spaceship costs the same as 25 sandwiches.
  3. It is not known whether in the world of Starfield it's the ships that are so cheap, or the sandwiches that are so expensive. Food in general, however, seems very expensive - the cheap ship mentioned costs as much as 48 steaks, 210 slices of toasted bread or 98 cartons of orange juice.
  4. This is all the more amusing because some time ago one of the developers admitted that he filled the hold of his ship in the game with sandwiches. At the time it seemed just a funny anecdote, but now, after learning the value of sandwiches in the game, it can be considered an interesting way of investing virtual profits.

Recall that Starfield is being developed for PC and Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles. The release is scheduled for September 6, this year. At the same time, the game will also be available on Game Pass - both on PC and Xbox consoles.

Many gamers are looking forward to the game. Microsoft's June show, which demonstrated extensive gameplay footage from Starfield, generated such interest that, along with the Xbox Games Showcase, it turned out to be the most popular event dedicated to Xbox consoles in history.
