Champions Quake Champions Guide
Last update: 12 May 2017
The game allows choosing from very distinct characters. Each of them has a different set of skills and different stats. You can either unlock a character forever, or "lend" them. This makes the given character available for 24 hours. Below, you can find a breakdown of all the characters. Described there are the default profiles of each character, which can be developed further.
{TOC H4}
Ranger
This is the first character you'll be playing. It's characterized by high movement speed, but at the expense of armor and health points. The Ranger only has 100 HP and 25 Armor. His special skill is Dire Orb. The skill works like this: Ranger releases a blue ball - after pressing the action key, the player is able to instantly travel to the ball's current location. Mind you that after releasing it, the ball will vanish after a couple seconds. This skill allows to quickly get behind the enemy, for example.
Scalebearer
This is a pretty balanced character. A reasonable amount of HP (150) and decent armor don't come at a very high price - the movement speed is still tolerable. Special skill is Blue Rush - quickly close in on the enemy, dealing additional damage if anyone's on your way.
Visor
This character has decent HP (125) and speed. His armor is very low, but the speed with which he moves can make up for it. Special skill: Piercing Sight - see enemies through walls and give them a surprise.
Anarki
A very fast character, but with low health (75) and armor (only 25). Special skill: Injection - additional speed for five seconds. Very useful for evasive action.
Nyx
Similarily to Anarki, Nyx has low health (75) and armor (25), but is very fast. Special skill: Ghostwalk - become invisible for a few seconds. Very useful for setting ambushes.
Sorlag
Sorlag is pretty slow, but compensates with high health (150), and pretty good armor. Special skill: Acid Spit - deal additional damage with acid spit.
Clutch
Another slow but resilient character. Special skill: Barrier - create a shield in front of you to insulate from any enemy attacks for a couple seconds.
Galena
Low armor, low health. The speed doesn't astonish either. However, she has a special skill that makes her one of the most useful characters: Unholy Totem. She can place the totem on any spot on the map - if an enemy gets close, the totem deals damage, similarly to a limpet mine; if an ally gets close, the totem replenishes their HP.
Slash
Average health (100 HP) and insignificant armor. She moves fast though, and has a very useful special skill: Plasma Trail. Slash leaves a trail of plasma that explodes after a few seconds - if anyone is in the range of the explosion, they have slim chances of getting out alive.
