Red Dead Online: Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral

This page is a walkthrough for Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral, one of the main missions in Red Dead Online. Sheriff Davis asks you to meet him near Van Horn. He is tracking Alfredo Montez.

Track Alfredo Montez together with sheriff Davies. You have two options - you can go to Van Horn, defeat outlaws and try to catch Montez before his reinforcements arrive or you can go to Montez's camp and start your investigation there.

Van Horn is full of Montez's outlaws. Kill them (you can also do that quietly). You learn that Montez isn't in the town. Kill one of his lieutenants - these enemies will try to escape. After that, go to Montez's hideout.

Kill a few more outlaws. Stay behind the trees and kill the enemies guarding the camp. Montez isn't here either - go back to the sheriff and speak with him. You learn that Montez is traveling in a nearby convoy.

Follow the stagecoaches and shoot the enemies. Be careful, the coaches are heavily guarded. You finally reach Montez. However, the man will jump out of his stagecoach. Catch him with a lasso and hogtie - transport the outlaw to the place marked on the map.

How to get a gold medal in Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral?

In Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral mission, players can get a bronze, a silver or a gold medal. Factors that determine which medal you will get:

1. Mission time.
2. Number of killed enemies.
3. Number of stealth killed enemies.
4. Headshots.
5. Lives lost by you or other players.
6. Damage received.
