Shadow of the Colossus: Colossus 13 - Phalanx

Phalanx is one of the easiest colossi, provided you are good with a bow. Travel to the desert and stand in the middle of the ruins to make it emerge from the sand.

Destroy the white bladders to gain access to the boss

You are facing a flying monster. To gain access to its main body, you need to destroy three white "bladders" located on the bottom part of its body, which allow it to fly. A single arrow for each target will suffice.

The enemy will lower its wings once you've managed to shoot down the bladders. Mount your horse and make an attempt to grab a hold of one of its wings. After a moment, the enemy will stabilize its flight, enabling you to use the wings to get to the body.

One of the vital points on the colossus' body

There are three vital areas of the opponent's body. The beast will throw you off its back after eliminating a single vital area, so you'll need to repeat the whole sequence three times to defeat the colossus. Watch out, as the boss dives in the sand after each vital point. Try to jump to the ground when the opponent is almost at the point of diving.
