Go on the other side of the room. Keep yourself close to the right wall. Kill few creatures. When you move around, you will find place from where the deadly substance flows. Stand on the stone block which is located near this place.

From there jump on the bar which is located in the mouth of the gargoyle - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

From there jump on the bar which is located in the mouth of the gargoyle. This action will close the flow of the deadly substance and the level of the substance will drop down.

Jump again on the rear of the gargoyle and move to the entrance by stone ledge - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Jump again on the rear of the gargoyle and move to the entrance by stone ledge. You will see that protruding edges are located in the opposite wall which can be used to slip down.

Jump on pillar on the left and quickly move down on the edge bellow you - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Jump on pillar on the left and quickly move down on the edge bellow you. Jump right and before the ledge will fall out from the pillar, walk the column around.

Get to the wooden scaffolding and use it to move on the other side - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Get to the wooden scaffolding and use it to move on the other side. Kill the creatures and by using the columns on right and beam on the left, jump over the next fissure.

You will find yourself behind a big statue - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You will find yourself behind a big statue. Use the line with hook and jump on the other side. When you land there, use the roundel which is mounted to the edge of the shield and start pulling the line.

The shield will open a new passage - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The shield will open a new passage. Jump there. After that move left and jump back. You will find yourself in the corridor.

Kill the enemies - [Southern Mexico] - Land of the Dead - part 1 - Southern Mexico - Tomb Raider: Underworld - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Kill the enemies. You will find yourself behind the second gargoyle. Climb up on the pillar and jump from there on the bar which is protruding from the mouth of the sculpture. The level of the deadly substance will lower again.


