The altitude of clouds allows you to hide
The plane can be hidden from the enemy sight by flying into clouds at the altitude of around 800m. In here, you can plan a surprise attack because you are at an advantage. Bomber planes and attack aircraft can also drop bombs while hidden in the clouds, without the necessity to get involved in a direct dogfight, which allows them to survive the battle.
