The latest season, Loot Reborn, in Diablo 4 has been warmly received by the fans. This can be a at least partially result of first PTR in Diablo series history. With a major rework to how itemisation works, many players have jumped back into the world of Sanctuary to try it out. The big hunt for items began. Among interesting loot, there is a specific sorcerer amulet called Fractured Winterglass that seems to be especially elusive and hard to find. Let’s explore how to get it to compliment ice mage build.

Getting Fractured Winterglass in D4 explained

In the latest Diablo 4 expansion, the developers put focus on how items work. Due to such major changes, some of them got legacy status which is something to take into consideration while completing your new gear. To make powerful ice mage build, Fractured Winterglass amulet is a great addition. It turns out that finding it is not an easy task, as it is hold by an old friend from Season of Blood – Lord Zir.

To get it you will have to venture to Ancient’s Seat in Darkened Way and conduct the Ritual of Blood. However, it is important to notice that defeating the boss doesn’t guarantee the drop on the very first try. Moreover, Fractured Winterglass can be found in World Tier 3 and 4. Obviously, the most powerful, Ancestral, version of the amulet is available only in W4. Of course, if you want to increase your chances of gaining mighty items you may want to challenge a Tormented version of Lord Zir, but it also changes requirements for Ritual of Blood, so instead of 9 Exquisite Blood items, it will require a lot more of them, plus several Stygian Stones. The latter can be found in chests at the end of The Pit dungeon.

Let’s just hope that the item will not get into your heart like in one of the Andersen’s fairy tales. Good luck!
