6 Exciting Indie Games Coming to the Switch This Fall

Fight your way out of the underworld or the Alaskan wilderness, build train tracks through procedurally generated worlds and dungeon crawl through failed tech startups. Here are a few exciting indie games coming to the Switch this fall.

The Red Lantern

If you have wanted to try roguelike games, but prefer a more narrative style over action, test your skills in the Alaskan wilderness with Timberline Studio’s The Red Lantern. Train for the famous Iditarod sled dog race with your team of dogs, avoiding frostbite and the dangerous Alaskan wildlife.

Play the game as aggressive or as cautious as you want and experience hundreds of different encounters on your way home. Don’t get too attached to your dogs though, because a bear attack in the trailer didn’t look too good for one of the dogs.

Prepare for your Alaskan adventure before the frigid winter arrives. The Red Lantern comes to the Switch sometime this fall.

It is a good time to be a fan of independent games on the Nintendo Switch. Several games launched with the Indie World Showcase yesterday, with most of these games likely to follow in the next few months.

Which games are you looking forward to this fall? Are you ready to build train tracks with your friends or do you prefer valuable experience at your new dungeon crawling internship?
