Borderlands Skins to Appear in Sea of Thieves

Microsoft's show at gamescom 2021 introduced a small collaboration between Sea of Thieves and Borderlands. Rare's title will feature skins inspired by the iconic looter-shooter.

Today, during Microsoft's show at gamescom 2021, the devs revealed a crossover between Sea of Thieves from Rare and the popular looter-shooter series Borderlands from Gearbox Software. This is actually a small collaboration and Sea of Thieves will feature only cosmetic elements from the formwe, but they are at least interesting, and what's more - free. You can get them from today until September 7.

As we can see in the trailer above, we will be able to decorate our ship with colors associated with Borderlands. In addition, we'll get sails with the Vault symbol, which is a hallmark of the series. Other additions are unique cannons, a rudder and a figurehead reminiscent of the popular character from Borderlands - Claptrap.
