Anno 1800: Side missions guide

This chapter in our guide to Anno 1800 focuses on side missions given to you by various citizens.
Side missions are an interesting new feature. Some citizens, ships or buildings can be marked with a star icon. This means that you can start a short mission. They have different goals, but they are one thing in common - these missions are short and easy (at least most of the times).
Some missions require you to take a picture of a specified object, others can require you to click on lost items, or to provide your citizens with a specific number of a certain good. Side missions are fast, and they reward you with a new NPC that can be assigned to, e.g. Town Hall or be part of an expedition. Spend your time doing them to get valuable citizens that will help you in the future.
