Realistic rescale and tactical balancing is a mod for Star Wars: Empire at War – Forces of Corruption, created by frobacca.

I have accurately re-scaled all the units to be their proper sizes as well as changing squad and squadron sizes on land and space. I have changed the balance of the factions to make more sense. The Rebels should not be on an even playing field as the Empire. Empire will have cheaper and more abundant units but they will be of lesser quality than some Rebel units. Game play requires more strategy now that units do realistic damage. Infantry cannot bum-rush tanks and win without some sort of anti armor support. All armor is now buffed to make it more of a threat on the field but for balancing sake the armor squads are reduced in size. Nor can an all fighter fleet defeat a full stacked fleet of larger ships. Population value of units has also been changed to allow for larger fights. You will no longer waste your population cap on garrison units for planets or low level star ships and fighters. Several units have also been unlocked and are now build-able. This mod will make your game HARDER!!!! but if you are like me and got bored with the easiness of the AI then this mod is for you!
All changes are in the XML. Just drop it into your data folder inside your gamedata folder.
