Justinianus Rising: Elisium of Rome is a mod for Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion, created by BagaturKhan.

Description (in author’s own words):

The project is now aimed at reflecting the harsh reality of Byzantium of the 6th century, the era of Justinian and the campaigns of Belisarius. I do not care that this is already implemented in Attila. On the engine of the first Rome there was not a single fashion about this era. I hope people understand me.

The Justinian campaign is now the main mod campaign. Its time frame will cover the entire period of the reign of this emperor, and also until the beginning of the 7th century. You can forget about old changes.

If someone is interested in the old version (Fall of Rome), see articles.

Immediately declare that the older versions are now NOT supported by the developers. On bugs or errors please do not complain.

So, what will include Justinianus Rising?

1. Of course this is content from older versions of the mod. His most part will remain in mod. (Especially 3d-content)

2. Model packs Vit2013 and from the fashion Imperial Crisis II (asterion2005 and SalotSar)

3. New time frame. The campaign will begin with the birth of Justinian (483) and end in 610. There may be moves for the game and will not be enough (for some people like to play for 500-600 years), but still the historicity will be present.

4. Naturally the factions and units of that time. In addition to Byzantium on the map will be present factions of the 6th century.

5. Expanded BI will be used. On this map the positions of Byzantium are very well reflected.

6. Family trees of many factions, and of course Byzantium will be redone. The same goes for names.

7. Historical events as events. (Just interesting pictures with descriptions during the course of the campaign)

Next, that I would like to include in the future. But here I look forward to the help of comrades from the forum.

1. Script invasions and battles. Of course I would like to count on the help of comrades from the Imperial crisis. It's just not so dull to change names and units - it's not interesting. It would be much better to visit the battles of that time, and personally lead Belisarius himself.

2. Historical battles of Belisarius. The Battle of Dara and the Battle of Trikamar (District 530-ies of AD)
