(DL2) Disable Telemetry is a mod for Dying Light 2, created by xowny.
Description:
Disables DL2 telemetry.
Telemetry is a service that collects and processes information about your computer's operating system (graphics card specifications, list of available games and their settings, amount of RAM, etc.), and passes this information to NVIDIA in accordance with its privacy policy.
To install:
1. Install 7zip to open compressed files.
2. Navigate to your game folder by right clicking your game in the library and selecting Manage->Browse local files. You can also go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\.
3. Go inside the ph folder, then inside the source folder. You will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source and there's a file called "data0.pak" there.
4.Delete the "telemetry.scr" inside "data0.pak" and move the mod or replace it. (BACKUP THE ORIGINAL FILE!)
