Widescreen Fix [PCSX2] is a mod for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent, created by ThirteenAG.
Description:
Adds widescreen support to the game when running on PCSX2 (PlayStation 2 Emulator). It’s a great thing, because the Xbox version of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent is pretty much completely different game from PC version.

To install:
Extract to PCSX2’s folder.
Useful information:
Two versions of the game are compatible, SLUS-21356 (crc: C0498D24) and SLES-53827 (crc: ABE2FDE9).
When you install the plugin, it can work in two modes.
With unchecked "Enable Widescreen Patches" option, plugin will modify the game's code to make it widescreen by itself.
With checked "Enable Widescreen Patches" option, C0498D24.pnach, generated by the plugin, will be used by PCSX2 to achieve the same result.
C0498D24.pnach is deleted, then recreated with current PCSX2 settings every time on game's startup.
Make sure you remove the asi plugin before modifying the pnach if you wish to do so.
