It is the largest modification improving Vice City of any fan production of its kind to date. The project improves graphics, adds support for high widescreen resolutions, and fixes bugs, but its biggest selling point is changes in gameplay and expansion of the game's content with new elements, including a sizable set of additional missions.

Extended Features introduces, among other things, gang wars over territories, in the style of those from GTA: San Andreas, as well as a mass of mini-games (including poker and black jack). The modules responsible for the behavior of NPCs were also heavily expanded.

Improvements also met the map - many closed objects can now be explored, and some of them began to serve as hideouts or objects that can be purchased. In addition, additional gangs have appeared in the game world. There were also new weapons, costumes and vehuicles.
