Rising Sun II is a mod for Mount & Blade: Warband, created by Helm8000.

Description:

This is a sequel to the popular modification. Like the original, the project moves the game's action from the fantasy land of Calradia to the historical realities of Japan between 1867 and 1869, allowing you to play out the period known as the Bakumatsu and the Boshin War.

Compared to the original, Rising Sun II places much more emphasis on the campaign, offering more single-player activities and much more extensive historical plots.

The project changes virtually all elements of the game. The map, cities, units, weaponry and characters are new. We can join more than a dozen factions, and the author has used a mass of new animations, models and textures. The gameplay has also been changed to increase realism and better reflect the specifics of the wars of this period in Japanese history.

Instructions:

To install the mod just :

1.Download the archive

2.Extract the archive to the "...MountBlade Warband\Modules" directory.

3.In the configuration menu that pops up before starting the game you must change "Native" to the correct mod.

It is best to play as Satsuma, Tosa, Choshu, Edo goverment or Shounate. These factions are the most well developed as playable.
