Rome: Total War: Antiquity is a mod for Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion, created by Illusion Development.
Description (in author’s own words)
Antiquity is all about keeping the game to it's classical standard. The way people enjoyed it, whilst also "revamping" it in most areas. Most units armour will remain the same for example, but they will look more unique and not just "carbon copied". Some more and fresh variety among the units, some will recieve accurate armour of course to try and make the game, as realistic as possible. More Settlements are planned to enhance the game as well as new factions to keep the game going and to hopefully feel changing but also as classical as possible. Otherwise what would be the point in playing an old classic such as this when you can play Rome 2? More units are also being developed to fill out some empty rosters and to give the player a chance to experiment. We will balance out the game, then start to work in the ai last. Minus little bits here and there to tweak gameplay a bit.

InstructionsL:
1) Extract all content to your Rome Total War root folder. If you have Rome Total War - Barbarian Invasion installed, there is no need to
copy the bi folder and the RomeTW-BI.exe.
2) Done!
HOW TO PLAY
1) Download the Rome: Total War Mod Launcher created by Dagovax:
2) Open the Launcher, select the Rome: Total War: Antiquity mod and click the launch button!
