Description:

The actions in this modification unfold in Italy, in the summer of 329 BC and end in the winter of 290 BC (the last move)

61 years later, after the burning of Rome by the Gauls, the eternal city on seven hills is again threatened by them. The Senate sends its troops to repel the attack and requests help from the noble patrician family of the Julii. And you, represented by the head of the Julius family, Gaius Julius, need to help Rome and prevent the invasion of the Gauls, and later establish control over the whole of Italy.

Who knows: perhaps the great ambitions, courage and love of the common people will help you eventually become the emperor of Rome itself.

This mod is made in two variations

The first version of the mod is called sons_of_mars_campaign

This is a completely exact copy of the prologue Sons of Mars, from the original game Rome Total War, which now has the ability to vary the size of the squad, choose the complexity of the battle and campaign, and most importantly - the ability to save and load the game.

Saving becomes available after notifying the adviser that it is possible to continue the campaign or switch to the imperial campaign.

(This happens about half a minute later, after the Senate's assignment is issued, to capture Bovian)

Note: Tarquinium can be captured in two ways;

1 Wait for all the moves of the siege and then the settlement will be captured automatically.

2 In real battle mode.

Choosing to auto-calculate the battle will cause the game to freeze, due to the lack of auto-save at that time.

-The campaign ends by the summer of 289 BC and if you do not have time to capture the entire map by this time, you will be counted as a defeat, but if immediately after entering the main menu, by downloading autosave, you can continue your campaign and play indefinitely.

- War to the Senate or the Scipios, it will be possible to declare when the support of the people is at the highest level.

Installation

1 - Unpack the archive

2 - Place the folder "sons_of_mars_campaign" on the path - data/world/maps/campaign.

3 - File "sons_of_mars_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names", throw in the path - data/text.

4 - Launch from the shortcut and play in provincial campaign mode.
