Scaling Field Encounters  is a mod for She Will Punish Them, created by aedenthorn.

Description:

Scales the difficulty and reward for field encounters based on player level and/or skirmishes already won.

This mod attempts to make the random daily encounter locations scale with the player's progress.

Aspects of the encounter affected will include:

1. monster damage
2. monster health and stamina
3. monster amount
4. gold and crystal amounts dropped and received at the end
5. loot drop frequency and number

It's a bit complex, so some tweaking will probably be required to get it to where you want.

Basically, there are two factors that determine a base multiplier for field encounters:

1. player level
2. skirmishes won by the player

You can tweak how much weight each of these have in the config file. Default is 0.1x for each.

On top of that there are individual multipliers for each of the type of thing affected which further tweak the base multiplier. Check the cfg file for details.

Config

A config file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.ScalingFieldEncounters.cfg is created after running the game once with this mod.

You can adjust the config values by editing this file using a text editor.

Technical

This mod requires BepInEx to be installed for SWPT.

To install this mod, place the contents of its zip file in the BepInEx/plugins folder (create it if the folder doesn't exist).
