X4: Foundations - Game Mod - Traitor Flagship Detected v.1.01 - Download

Traitor Flagship Detected is a mod for X4: Foundations, created by Ziev217.

Description (in author’s own words):

Replaces main menu, suspense, and combat music with tracks from House of the Dying Sun OST. All credit goes to the fantastic composer Olivier Zuccaro.

Installation Instructions

Create a folder named "extensions" at the root of your X4 Foundations game location if you do not already have one. If you downloaded from steam, the X4 Foundations game folder may be located here:

\C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions

If you downloaded the game from GOG, your game folder may be located somewhere in your "C:\Program Files (x86)" folder or wherever you installed the game.

Download and extract the contents of the "Traitor_Flagship_Detected.zip" file to your "extensions" folder.

The hierarchy should be as follows.

\X4 Foundations

\\extensions

\\\Traitor_Flagship_Detected

\\\\content.xml

\\\\ext_01.cat

\\\\ext_01.dat

Ensure the mod is enabled in-game in the extensions menu from the main menu.

Uninstall Instructions

To uninstall simply delete the "Traitor_Flagship_Detected" folder in your extensions. Your music files will revert back to the original X4 Foundations main menu, suspense, and combat music. To my knowledge this mod is save game compatible and safe to add and remove.

Conflicts

This mod will conflict with any other mod that alters the "libraries\sound_library.xml" file, specifically any entries related to the main menu, suspense, and combat music selection.
