11 Great Scenes in Bad Movies

Today we present eleven brilliant scenes and film sequences that we got a chance to see in not necessarily successful productions.

  4. Metacritic score: 62

The Matrix is once again a hot subject among the cinephiles, thanks to the fourth part, which premiered at the end of 2021. But we want to talk about a not entirely successful continuation of the great original. The Matrix Reactivation in an incompetent way returns to the threads from its prequel and thus quickly turns out to be a degenerated version of the real thing. The main plot is not very intense, and the whole thing is chaotic and overcomplicated. Nevertheless, the movie was a blockbuster, so it's no wonder that the producers went for the third, equally confusing installment of the series.

However, this production cannot be denied a visual charm which hypnotizes the viewers from the very first minutes. The iconic highway chase scene is particularly noteworthy. Every second is breathtaking! It won't be an exaggeration to say that in 2003, the special effects used here were a revelation only matched by the revolution brought by Star Wars in 1977.

No wonder this snippet has so many views on YouTube today. Watching cars hurtle against traffic, causing one crash after another was never so spectacular. Therefore, it's a pity that this fantastic scene is a part of a movie that wasn't entirely successful – I don't know about you, but for me it is mostly a wasted opportunity.
