The lives of American go their standard, mundane way, when suddenly - as in most science-fiction horrors - everything changes (here through a strange phenomenon in the sky). This is how it was inGet Out, Us, and this is how it is once again in Nope, Jordan Peele's latest film. The movie behind this non-obvious title will have you scratching your head every twenty minutes or so.

Jordan Peele reflects on the history of the United States, introduces metaphors, and uses the eloquent art of film symbols. Of course, this is not a film for everyone, because many people can be put off by the unusual way of execution of this script. You can also ask yourself whether this film deserves to be "the best movie of the year" at all. I personally think that it does - after all, it resonates in your head for a very long time.
