Release date

Death Stranding is an innovative PlayStation 4 exclusive that will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The lead designer of this game is the living legend, the man himself, Hideo Kojima, i.e. the father of the Metal Gear series. Death Stranding is the first independent project from Kojima Productions, which separated from Konami in 2015.

Kojima announced that this title will be the cornerstone of a new genre of video games, but he cannot exactly define or classify his work.

Information about the game is very scarce and is largely presented only at the biggest industry events.

The game was originally announced at the E3 in 2016. Over the next four years, only a few trailers appeared online. The release date was revealed during a streaming event on May 29, 2019. The game will be released on November 8, 2019 exclusively for the PlayStation 4, and will be priced $59.99 for the standard digital edition. It is not yet known what age rating Death Stranding will be given.
