Daves quests arent very complicated - Dave | Side quests - Side quests - Final Fantasy XV Game Guide

Dave's quests aren't very complicated. The man asks you to collect dog tags, which are, in most cases, protected by a small group of enemies. Additionally, you have to speak with the nearby tipster to reveal the surrounding area and unlock another step in this quest line.

Gone Hunting	Complete "The Errand Prince" in Chapter 1.	500 EXP, Hi-potion x10
Dust to Dust	Reach chapter 2 and complete "Gone Hunting".	600 EXP, Mega-Potion x5
Final Resting Plains	Reach chapter 3 and complete "Dust to Dust".	800 EXP, Elixir
A Rocky End	Complete "Final Resting Plains".	1000 EXP, Hi-Elixir x10
Swallowed by Shadows	Complete A Rocky End.	1200 EXP, Hi-Elixir x10
A Backwoods Burial	Complete "Swallowed by Shadows".	1500 EXP, Phoenix Down x10
Washed Away	Complete "A Backwoods "Burial.	1800 EXP, Phoenix Down x10
Mountains of Misfortune	Reach chapter 7 and complete "Washed Away".	2000 EXP, Megalixir x5
The Witch of the Woods	Complete "Mountains of Misfortune".	2500 EXP, Mega Phoenix x5
