Stealing the potion

It's the simplest of tasks. You will have to break the Golden Rule. However, you will quickly get the thing you need to complete the quest. If you feel remorse, remember that the life of the sick woman lies in your hands - she will die without the Silphium Resin.

To steal the potion, the first thing you need to do is to talk to the merchant. Then just walk away from him, turn around, examine the bottle and take it. This will cause an earthquake - run to the temple to break the loop.

If you don't know the way to the temple, the quest marker will show you. In this case, you immediately get the information to escape and reset the loop. Remember that after you reset, you will still have the Silphium Resin in your inventory.

Stealing money

If you want to steal the money for the potion instead of just taking the Silphium Resin without permission, you will have to do as described below. Remember, this will also make you break the Golden Rule. You have to reset the loop after every theft. You have several options to steal money.

First of all, you can rob people and steal from homes. Any theft will break the Golden Rule. Choose only good opportunities, such as places where there is a lot of money.

Second, steal money from the merchant and pay him with it. All you have to do is go into his store, take the keys from the shelf, and then open the denarius chest. This will also break the golden rule, but you'll have 2,450 denarius in your inventory.

Earning denarius
