Otomedius Excellent is a classic 2D shooter in the style known from the Gradius or R-Type series. It is a continuation of the production of Otomedius Gorgeous released in 2008. The story tells the story of the struggle of women pilots squadron for the future of the Earth. Compared to the first part, the graphics have been improved and the available arsenal has been significantly expanded.

In the game we get access to a number of multi-pay aircraft machines, with which we fight battles in vast arenas with computer opponents or other players. The game has detailed graphics and the gameplay is more shooter-oriented than a realistic simulator.

The whole was presented in manga style. The non-linearity of the plot and audiovisual effects make this seemingly simple game quite interesting.
