The game borrows many features from classics like Metroid or Castlevania, as well as The Legend of Zelda and Diablo series. Gameplay in Oddworld: Soulstorm did not change that much since the first 2013 New ‘n’ Tasty. It is still a 2.5D platform-adventure game where we have to rely on Abe's and his fellow Mudokons' abilities. The game, however, is a bit darker in terms of stylistics.

Shovel Knight: King of Cards
Shovel Knight: King of Cards

Arcade December 2018

The last expansion to a well-received game titled Shovel Knight. Both the add-on and the base game have been developed by Yacht Club Games. The main protagonist of the expansion is the titular King of Cards, who is one of the bosses a player has to fight as the Shovel Knight in the base game. The main protagonist has to prove his rights to the crown by defeating three usurpers from the neighboring lands. Similarly to the base game, Shovel Knight: King of Cards is a 2D platform game with RPG elements. The new hero fights and moves in a different manner than the previous protagonists - he mounts a short charge, which stuns the enemies and destroys some of the obstacles on the map. He also has a special ability - he can perform a pirouette on enemies' heads multiple times. As one progresses through the story, he acquires more powerful weapons, armor, and new companions. An interesting element of the game is the minigame, in which one can play cards with NPCs. The gameplay revolves around the story campaign, which is well complemented by special challenges, in which one can test his skills in platform puzzles as well as combat.

Super Meat Boy: Forever
Super Meat Boy: Forever

Arcade December 2018

This time, however, we do not have full control over the titular character. He continuously runs ahead, we can only help him avoid all sorts of traps and obstacles. We will also have fight with powerful bosses every once in a while. In addition to single player, the game offers the so-called Endless mode where we have to run as far as possible and survive as long as possible. Our score is then published in online rankings when we can compare our times with the achievements of other players. The game has cartoonish visuals and lots of dark humor in it. Super Meat Boy: Forever has many references to other games, i.e. unlockable characters from various indie productions.

Penguin Wars

Arcade 31 July 2018

The matches are diversified by various modifiers, such as bombs or obstacles that appear on the play field. Penguin Wars offers solo gameplay or multiplayer modes for up to 4 players, playing either one on one or two on two. Moreover, we offered a campaign that depicts the story featuring individual characters. The game is characteristic for its appealing, colorful visuals and catchy soundtrack with both new and remastered tracks.

To achieve that, you have to complete a range of levels and use the protagonist's unusual powers, which allow him to change into five kinds of beings — you use their abilities both when fighting enemies and solving puzzles. Although Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom references popular 1980s platform games, there are also role-playing elements. The game features oldschool 2D visuals, resembling legendary 16-bit productions.

Persona 5: Dancing Star Night features a few gameplay modes, including a visual novel story campaign that takes place in Persona 5 universe. The game uses the engine and technology from the fifth main entry in the Persona series. The game features a few dozen of tracks from Persona 5, some of which are remixes created by various artists. The developers also included some completely new songs as a bonus.
