Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Kingpin: Life of Crime

An adult-only brutal FPS game. We play the role of a betrayed bandit who decides to take revenge on his former companions. The action was set in the fictional city of Wind City, which combines the climate of the Prohibition with futuristic elements. The levels are mostly open in structure and allow freedom of exploration.

Heretic

First person shooter based on the Doom engine. The game is kept in the convention of fantasy, so we use medieval weapons and a wide range of magical objects. The fun is enriched by simple adventure elements in the form of occasional riddles.
Afterfall Reconquest

An episodic action game developed by Intoxicate. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe known from the cRPG Afterfall and from the survival horror Afterfall Insanity. The player enters a world that survived a great war, where groups of survivors are hiding in small mountain settlements, forced to fight in search for supplies and resources. Each of the three episodes tells a completely different story shown from the perspective of a different character.

Warframe

A co-op sci-fi shooter game developed by Digital Extremes, the creators of The Darkness II, Pariah, and Dark Sector. It's a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions. The story takes place in the far future, in the far region of the galaxy, where the Tenno race is fighting the Grineer empire. The chances of both sides become more balanced when the Tenno discover the ancient battle armors, giving their owners extraordinary offensive capabilities.
Gears of War: Judgment

The game was developed by Polish studio People Can Fly (Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and other titles) that belongs to Epic Games. Gears of War: Judgment is a prequel to the story shown in Gears of War. The main protagonist is Damon Baird who, together with his brothers in arms – Augustus Cole, Garron, and Sophia, is falsely accused of treason.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation

The game was developed by the team at The Farm 51, founded by people involved in the creation of the original. The players assume the role of Daniel Garner who died in a car crash along with his wife. The protagonist is tasked with dealing with infernal hordes, which will allow him to redeem himself and join his beloved in the afterlife.

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD

A PlayStation 3 compilation of two Resident Evil games that were initially released for Nintendo Wii in years 2007-2009. The productions included in the bundle are quite different in terms of gameplay mechanics from the main installments of the series, as they are not classic TPP action games but first-person rail shooters. In them, we visit a number of well-known locations and fight incoming hordes of zombies.

You explore a vast, diverse world filled with plants, wildlife, and numerous dangers. The game does not set any specific goal for you to achieve; the player’s main objective focuses solely on survival.
Reign of Kings

An MMO in Medieval setting, classified as a sandbox survival simulator. The game does not introduce a very refined plot; the players' characters, deprived of any memories, find themselves on the coast of a mysterious island, where it's everybody for themselves in the struggle for the royal throne. As in pretty much any survival game, the essential element of the gameplay is the need to obtain food, and the resources necessary to construct simple tools or, eventually, your own fort.
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin

The story of LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is connected to the previous installment in the series. After defeating the tyrant and his Nindroid minions, the five heroes have to face another threat, which is the eponymous Ronin leading the Army of Shadows.
Dragon Quest Heroes II

Similar to its predecessor, it is a spin-off title in the Dragon Quest franchise by Square Enix, and although it retains a similar atmosphere, it offers several new solutions. The plot of Dragon Quest Heroes II references the events of its predecessor. Despite the lack of any direct links to the core Dragon Quest productions, there are a few familiar faces to see here.
Styx: Shards of Darkness

A sequel to the well-received TPP stealth game Styx: Master of Shadows by French studio Cyanide. Once again you play as the goblin assassin known from the first installment and the RPG Of Orcs and Men. The protagonist goes to the city of Körangar, a stronghold of the Dark Elves. There he discovers that a secretive meeting of the Elves and the Dwarves is just a cover for a dangerous conspiracy of the goblin-hating races.
Samurai Warriors 4-II

An upgraded version of the fourth installment in the Samurai Warriors series, which came out for the tenth anniversary of the franchise. Developed by Omega Force, the game was released not only for Sony consoles, but also for PCs. The game is a conventional TPP hack-and-slash, featuring spectacular battles. Samurai Warriors 4-II is set in Feudal Japan, and the player takes part in subsequent skirmishes, fighting both smaller groups of enemies and entire armies.
