Ultima Online was developed by Origin Systems. The game world is a fantasy realm, bearing some resemblance to medieval Europe, called Britannia. It takes place after the events of the first installment of the series. After the fearsome wizard Mondain was defeated, his Gem of Immortality was destroyed.
