To be successful you need to earn eight Gym Badges by defeating the Battle Arenas’ leaders specialized in different elements.

The events in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are presented from an isometric perspective, and a significant portion of gameplay is about exploration of randomly generated dungeons as well as fighting turn-based battles.
