In the third decade of the 21st century, the racing game genre saw a trend of creating arcade-type productions that deal loosely with Formula One, making nostalgic references to the "golden" times in the history of this motorsport discipline and, incidentally, the electronic entertainment industry - the 1990s.
Titles such as New Star GP and Formula Legends were followed by 4PGP Four-Player Grand Prix, developed by 3goo of Japan and Vision Reelle of France, backed by the experience of developers who have lent a hand to classics such as Sega Rally and Ridge Racer.
4PGP is intended for players of all skill levels, offering several difficulty levels to choose from. The driving model has a not-so-realistic arcade feel, but good reflexes are necessary for success. You also have to take into account tire wear and repair in the service alley.
As you progress, you unlock more and more content - there are a total of 14 racetracks and 19 vehicles, inspired by iconic Formula One models (unlicensed), led by cars from the early 1990s.
The basis of fun in 4PGP is quick races (Quick Races) against artificial intelligence, but they can also be played in split-screen multiplayer mode for up to four people. In addition, there are time trials (Time Attack) and championships (Championship Mode).
