Aces over Europe is the second Dynamix game after Aces of the Pacific, part of a series of flight simulators called Great War Planes. This time the player will take part in the air fights in Europe, which took place during the last two years of World War II.

The career mode is almost identical to the one you could see in the original. Only the sides of the conflict have changed: now we have Allies (USAF and RAF) and Germans (Luftwaffe). After selecting the mother unit, we can proceed to one of several campaigns, which consist of various missions (air fights and ground target bombardment). In addition, the program allows you to take part in a single scenario, which can be e.g. a training flight, a skirmish with an Ace or escorting bombers. The flight model has remained virtually unchanged, so you play just like in Aces of the Pacific. Enthusiasts of maximum realism will welcome the fact that the authors have not resigned from a comfortable and easy to use hindrance panel, which allows you to significantly raise the bar in driving the aircraft. This also works the other way round. If you only want to shoot yourself, you can modify realism to the minimum before each mission.

Graphic design is slightly better than in the original, including Gourard shading, which improves the quality of objects present in the game. Traditionally, we can observe the flight from several cameras and record air battles. Thanks to a small studio, you can then watch and analyze the events in which we had previously been directly involved to your heart's content.
