Ale Abbey is a production on the border of strategic and simulation games, in which we run the titular abbey. The game was developed by the independent Estonian studio Hammer & Ravens, which has projects such as the strategy game Empires in Ruins, as well as shooters Headbangers in Holiday Hell and Razerwire: Nanowars in its portfolio.

Gameplay

Brewing beer

In Ale Abbey we watch the events from the side. During the game we run an abbey that specializes in brewing beer. The game allows us to prepare alcohol representing over 20 European styles. To brew each beer type, we need not only the appropriate equipment and ingredients, but also the correct recipe. We must follow the recipe steps, taking care of things like the quantity, quality, and temperature of the mash.
