The fourth installment in the series of terrifying adventures of Edward Carnby. The protagonist’s best friend, Charles Fiske, is found dead on a mysterious island - Shadow Island - located on the coast of the Maine state. Carnby’s investigation leads to Fred Johnson, who informs him about Fiske’s ongoing search of three Indian tablets. If set in correct places, they may unleash an incredible but dangerous power. Johnson proposes Carnby to keep searching and to find his friend’s killer.

Alone in the Dark Game Series

A series of survival horror games, sometimes considered the protoplast of the entire genre. Over the years, the series has been handled by various development studios; Infogrames worked on its first three installments, and later it was developed by such teams as Darkworks, Eden Games, Hydravision Entertainment, Pure FPS and Pieces Interactive. The first owner of the rights to the brand was Infogrames (later renamed Atari), but in 2018 they were sold to THQ Nordic.
