American Truck Simulator: Illinois is the seventeenth major expansion for the truck simulator titled American Truck Simulator, originally released in 2016. The expansion was developed by SCS Software studio, which oversees the development of this production.

New features in the expansion

American Truck Simulator: Illinois introduces content related to the titular state located in the Midwest of North America. The add-on allows us to travel Route 66, journey through towns located on the Mississippi River, cross lush fields and small towns in the south, or even enter Chicago, which is the third largest metropolis in the United States.

Of course, our stay in Illinois is not only about sightseeing, but also work. Thanks to its location in the heart of an agricultural country and in the area of the old industrial belt, Illinois is known for its exports, agricultural production and processing. All this means that there is no shortage of work orders for a truck driver here.
